India was wrapped up the First Test in Chennai by eight wickets. Australia could only add nine runs this morning to set India an even 50 for victory. James Pattinson and Nathan Lyon each picked up a wicket before the hosts completed a famous win. MS Dhoni was named Man of the Match for his blistering 224.

 MS Dhoni's unbeaten double hundred has put India in firm control of the First Test in Chennai. At 8-515, the hosts lead by 135 runs with two days to go. History tells us Australia will need to pull a rabbit out here to not be one-nil down heading into the 2nd Test.
